Good Friends Playschool is a family care home and play school in the Cully neighborhood of Portland. Carol and Kevin Florence set out to create a space that provided the quality of care that they would want for their own two children. It is a place where a child can receive individualized care, play, and learn within the context of community. Carol has 15 years experience caring for and educating young children, and Kevin is a musician who loves sharing his skills with kids. Together they strive to cultivate an environment that nurtures curiosity, expression and empathy. 

Good Friends Playschool is a Certified Family Childcare Home and meets requirements specified by the Oregon Office of Child Care and was a proud recipient of the MercyCorps IDA Small Business Grant in 2017.
